I am so sorry to hear about Rosalyn. She was a good friend to me in high school, and we had a lot of fun together. She will be sadly missed.

Rosie was a good friend and will be sorley missed.  I met Rosie through her husband Ed.  I worked with Ed at Tri-Clover for 30 years and many golf outings.  My condolences to the family.

It's sad to hear of Rosie's passing.  I knew her when we were in elementary class (fourth grade) and had a lot of fun with her and all the girls Saturdays at Frank School.. Even  though we lost touch after Frank School, it sounds like she had a very nice life which she so rightly deserved. Rest In Peace.

Even though I don't know Rosalyn, I knew who she was. I liked reading her obituary. It told wonderful things about her. Peace to her family.

I am so sad to hear of Rosie's passing.  I didn't know her at Bradford, but met her at "AMC Tech" as it was known to those of us who didn't go on to college.  We worked together for several years until Chrysler took over and  broke us all up.  We had lunch together a couple times a week, either at Andrea's or Uptown or that place on corner of 60th & 22nd - used to be Tompkins Ice Cream.  Anyway, she was a loving, caring person - never heard her say a mean word about or to anyone - and believe me, work gve us lots of reasons to do so.  Instead, we shared our gripes with each other - I am blessed to have known her.  My sympathies to Ed and the family. Rosalyn will be sorely missed.

My memories of Rosie go back to our grade school years and the summer days spent at Columbus Park with others our age. Her twin brother, Roger (who ironically died of Covid just a few months ago) was always there with his friends and his brother Albert but basically the guys played baseball while we girls (myself, Cassie Sartor, Rosie and a few others ) either played jump rope or had on rollerskates and challenged each other to races around the block. When we had enough, we'd sometime go to Hartline Drug store for ice cream. We attended different jr high schools as the boundary was split at 52nd St and 22nd Ave. Rosalyn went to McKinley while myself and Cassie attended Washington Jr..High. By the time we met up again in High School, we had made other friends but remained friendly. Rosie was always the nicest and sweetest person you could ever know. Maybe we had a few classes together, I dont recall, but we chatted in the hallway between classes as her locker was very close to mine in our Senior year.
I am happy she lived a wonderful life with her husband Eddie Deardorf whom I knew from attending St. Joe's my sophomore year. Together they had children and grandchildren to enjoy and spoil. She kept busy with her crafts and involvement with many outside functions as well as being devoted to her Church. I have no doubt she was an exceptional cook as I remember the house she grew up in always had delicious smells as soon as you opened the back door ! God bless and keep you in his loving arms, Rosalyn. You are safe and at Home now .

I met Rosie in sixth grade at Frank elementary school.  She did a kindness for me which I will never forget.  I didn't see her much in high school but she was a friend to a friend of mine, RIP Rosie.
