I was sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I only saw the notice today, the 10th of June 2013. I knew Mike--but not very well as he seemed so shy in high school. I was very interested to see that he lived in Montana and had three children. I offer his wife and family my sympathy. If you'd like to share more about Mike here, I'd be most interested in hearing more about him, you and his life. Sorry for your loss. Eva Poole-Gilson

Mike Fitzpatrick lived on the same street as I did, 32nd Ave. in Pleasant Prairie. It was real country back then.  For eight grades we were classmates at Highland  School.  One Saturday, when we were maybe twelve, Mike and I took off on our bikes riding from our little country village to downtown Kenosha to see the County Museum next to Mary D. Bradford H..S.  There was no bike path, no map, no head gear and  probably no permission; I don't think anyone noticed we were gone.  It was one of those brave adventures I'll never forget.  Mike is far right, second row.

Oh Kathy (or Kate, I guess now), I was at Highland also, but not until 1954!!  But I remember Mike!!  Eva Poole said he was shy in high school, but he was a dickens in grade school!!  Always being funny! I think I recognize several classmates in that photo:  Alice Jackson, Sally Krumpos, Dick Klein, how about Chris Molinaro and Kathy  McAleer??

I am sorry to hear of Mike's passing; I hope it was peaceful. Classmates leaving "us" always brings back memories.  My sympathies for his family.

Sorry to hear about Mike's passing. My deepest sympathy to his family. I remember Mike as being quiet but friendly but too young to leave this world. RIP
