Georgia L. Lindow

1943 - 2018

Georgia L. Lindow, 74 of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Born in Kenosha on August 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Lois (Johnson) Gause. She attended Mary D. Bradford High School.

On July 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to Alfred Lindow. The couple was introduced by Al's sister.

For 24 years, Georgia was employed with Gallo Pharmacy, until they closed. She then was employed with Larsen Mayer Pharmacy for 14 years and Good Value Larsen-Mayer for 6 years as a Pharmacy Technician.

Georgia was a member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church where she faithfully served on the church council and choir.

For 22 years, Georgia and her husband spent winters in Fla. Her many interests included crocheting, knitting and reading. Special memories were made when Georgia spent time with her grandchildren, Colton and Scarlett.

Georgia will be missed by her loving husband of 56 years, Al; her wonderful son, Tim (Bridget) Lindow; her two adoring grandchildren, Colton and Scarlett; and many nieces and nephews. 

She is further survived by her many friends in Florida, Kenosha and at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Lindow in 2009, and her sister and brother-in-law, Carol (Pete) Marcoe.

Funeral Services honoring Georgia's life will be held on Friday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 2313 17th Avenue. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances be made to Hospice Alliance, Inc., 10220 Prairie Ridge, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158

I'm so sorry to hear about Georgia.  I remember her from school as a funny, fun-loving girl!!!  Always laughing and kidding around.  Didn't know that she 'wintered' in FL.  Wonder if she was near me?  Rest in Peace Georgia.  I know you will be missed.

Oh Gosh, Everytime I ran into Georgia we promised to get together for coffee, but we never did.  Feel terrible now.  She was such a nice friendly classmate.  Rest in Peace Georgia..
