Maxine Hein

1942 - 2018

Maxine Hein, 76, of Santa Fe, N.M., passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. 

She was born March 9, 1942, in Kenosha Wis., to the late Richard and Marjorie Thomas. Maxine moved to Santa Fe, N.M., with her family in 1978. Maxine was an avid bowler and golfer. Maxine worked in Santa Fe at Lovelace as a medical assistant.

She is survived by her son Michael, daughter Christine and husband Abraham and her three grandchildren, Eric, Shaun, and Mckayla, also a sister Janette Hein of Santa Fe, N.M. At her request her ashes are to be buried with her mother and father in Ilinois.

Oh my gosh, I just saw this obituary for Maxine.  I recall trying to find her for our reunions but was unable to locate her before the computer age.  Maxine was a wonderful, fun person  Always ready for a laugh or a joke, and that great red hair gave her a personality all her own. I hope she had a good life.  She will be missed as part of the Class of 1961.
