Art Stank Jr., of Newark, DE, formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away at his residence on July 3, 2026.
Arthur worked at AMC and Chrysler until his retirement in 2001.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time with his sons and friends while hunting and fishing.
Arthur will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was centered around his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Carole; his son, David of Appleton; his daughter, Rae Ann of Kenosha; and his son, Marc (Jan), and his family of Flower Mound, TX. He loved his grandchildren, Karly, Nicholas, Tyler, Jared, and Jack; and his great-grandchildren, Jonah and Jase.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Sr. and Evelyn Stank, and his grandson, Nicholas Torcaso.
Per Art's wishes, a private ceremony was held in his honor.
Arthur's family is grateful for the love, support, and prayers extended to them. He will certainly be missed.

We'll miss Art's great sence of humor and his booming voice. We had a fun time with our "57's" and the Stanich brothers for many years. May he rest in peace. Our sincere conddolences to Carol and his family.

It's hard to be reading another obituary for one of our classmates. There were so many of us in the class of '61 that we didn't have the chance to get to know everyone. But one benefit to reading about them is to again realize what a wonderful group we belonged to and spent our high school years with.

So sorry to read yet of another one of our classmates passing. Met Art in high school, as we were always in homeroom together. He was quite the charactor then, I imagine he was like that all thru his life My condolences to Carol and his family.

We went to Sunday school at St Mary's Lutheran, then confirmation classes with Rev Siersbeck on Sat mornings and then entered the church congregation as "adults" at 15. I am certain we never considered ourselves adults. Art's laughter and playfulness throughout were his trademarks. Also in that class at st Mary's were Nancy Walton, Gail Hansen, Chris chritiansen, tom Geary, and many others but just to name a few. In junior high and high school Art was able to maintain his adventurist playfulness and was always up for the next prank. He had a keen sense of business at that time and had several small businesses going, entrepreneur that he was. He seemed to always be in the presence of the Stanich brothers. After Washington Bowl in 1961 I lost touch with Art, as young adults we wandered off on our individual paths. Saw him at occasional reunions and now am glad to see he was such an avid family man as an " actual" adult. I will always remember his sparkling eyes, full of curiosity and adventure.
