About the Scholarship
The graduates of the Mary D. Bradford High School Class of 1961 have remained a close knit group of friends. For more than five decades, the members of the class of ’61 have discussed ways to give back to the future generations of Bradford graduates.
In 2016, members of the class of ’61 collected funds and established a scholarship fund at the Kenosha Community Foundation for the benefit of students graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School.”
The Bradford High School Class of ‘61 Scholarship Fund shall be used to support graduating seniors at Mary D. Bradford High School who will be a full-time student pursuing a two-year or four-year degree at an accredited Wisconsin college or university.
Elligibility
Scholarships are for seniors from Kenosha’s Mary D. Bradford High School who plan to pursue a two-year or four-year college or university degree at an accredited Wisconsin institution as a full-time student.
Bradford High School students with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 – 3.5 should apply.
Award Term and Amount
2019 Scholarships are one-time, $2,000 awards – awards will be announced in the spring of 2019.
Selection
Recipients will be selected each spring by a committee formed by the donors to the Bradford High School Class of ’61 Scholarship Fund and the Kenosha Community Foundation.
