Kenny and I mowed lawns for the city a long time ago when we were both in college-He tought me a lot about playing the guitar-he was a lot of fun and a great guy with an amazing sense of humor-I have not seen him sense high school-if anyone has his obituary please forward it to me so I can contact the family.

I knew Kenny so well from when we were young kids  Our family moved to the county when I was age 8 or 9 or so and at that time there were only a few houses where we lived, and very few kids.  The Axelson's lived kind of behind us but our lots and yards were as one and we used them that way.  They had a swing set with 2 swings that we all loved to use. They had a small dog named Tray who seemed to live forever. The three Axelson boys were all so different, and so unique.  All are deceased now.  Ken was the middle child.  Ken was so interested in so many different things and each passing phase he had he really persued big time.  He did photograpy for a while and had great cameras and even developed his photos at home in his basement.  I still have a couple copies of photos he took of me and my family.  He even colored them. He was a science buff and created experiments in his basement where explosions were not uncommon. Weird smells and smoke and a mother who was a saint, very supportive.   He got to love music and even worked at the record store downtown. Bindingers or Hoffmans, I can't remember.  He learned to play the guitar and was just so good at everthing he tried.  He was our paper boy for a while and did not seem afraid to try just about anything.  He was always a nice friend.  I remember one time when I was working at the Kenosha Theater he stopped over and brought me a rubber blow up monkey that they sold at the dime store.  I really liked that monkey.  I went to his wedding and he and Barb had a long and nice marriage.  They had one son who sadly died as an adult.  Their son was a very intelligent person and worked as a real CSI guy in Florida.  I will forever think of Kenny with his blond hair and his glasses and his intuitive and brilliant mind.  A really nice friend and good guy to grow up with.  I am so happy to have known him.

Wasn't real close with Ken, but we had a few things in common. He told ne the long story of guitarist Django Reinhardt, I had never heard of him, so Ken proceeded to tell me everything he knew abiut him!  Kenny was quite a guy.
