Tom and I considered outselves to be "cousins", albiet a 4th or 5th relationship.  We shared a locker in our sophomore year in the Annex and always sat together in Home Room.  Jim Hannes sat in front of me, and Tom behind for three years.  Our relationship continued into the first few years of college and then we didn't see each other except for our 10th reunion.  As time passed and Mary Beth and I began to spend some time in Arizona, Tom and Miriam were  on the visilt agenda.  Tom was a friend who cared about people and he found fulfilment in his life in AZ.

My most memorable incident with Tom occured during our senior year; one morning I told him that I was thinking about asking Barb Christian to Homecoming, when I asked her a few days later, she said, "your cousin asked me earlier and I said yes."  Needless the say the next day in homeroom led to a evil eye and he just smiled.

Thanks for being part of my life and you are remembered.

Paul

Sorry to hear this about Tom!  Saw Tom often during first two years at university, but our life paths were different.  Always good to catch up during reunions.  Condolences to the family. RIP, JACK MINSKI
