Donald Larson Jr. born March 5, 1943 , died in Shawano, Wisconsin on September 6, 2003. He married Sarajane Covelli and moved to Shawano in 1998 after his retirement from the Kenosha U. S. Postal Service to be near their daughter and grandchildren.
Survivors included his wife of 40 years, Sarajane, a son Donald W. Larson III, daughter Rebecca (Steve) Carey and four granddaughters.

So sorry to read of Don's passing. He was my firsy playmate over by 19th-20th ave. in the 5800 block. This was when we were about 8 years old or so. He had 3 cherry trees in his back yard and would climb almost to the top, I would always chicken out about halfway! He also loved fishing, had all kinds of fishijng gear. Right behind my house lived Tim Gerl and the three of us were terrors of the neighborhood. As we futhered our schooling, I went more toward music and sports and we went our separate ways. Saw Don one day when I was in my police car and he was delivering mail. We couldn't believe our eyes! Guess we had turned out okay after all.

Don was my married to my sister, Sarajane. A great husband, father and friend. Lot's of fun at family gatherings. Miss him still, especially during holidays.
