I remember Frank from Lincoln Jr. and before that from the boys club next to lincoln when we were in elementary, albeit at different schools. We played a lot of ping pong at the boys club and through high school he felt confident enough to tell be stories about his fathers death and how he and Nick felt about that. Sometime after high school he moved to California, not too far from me near a ski resort , Mountain High in Wrightwood Ca. Frank was a strong family man. I was surprised to see no one commented on Franks passing, he was always well liked and was very easy going.
I knew Frank for many years and he is the main reason I moved to California. I stayed in touch with Frank and since I worked for American Airlines in Chicago, I was able to visit Frank and Patty many times in California. I moved to Palm Springs and was able to visit with Frank and his family for many years.
I also went to school with Frank and his brother..my father was friends with their dad...Sorry to hear of his passing...had a crush on him in grade school......
