Patricia P. Shannon
1943 - 2017
Patricia P. (Dawson) Shannon, 74, joined her late husband, Tommy Lee, in Heaven on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017. She passed peacefully in her sleep after suffering a long illness. She was born in Macon, Mo., on June 13, 1943.
She is survived by three daughters, Gina (Cotton) of Coalfield, Brenda (Morehouse) of Kenosha, Wis., and Lynda (Stidham) of Winchester, Ky.; and two sons, Richard (Tabili) of Kenosha, Wis., and Philip (Tabili) also of Kenosha. She also leaves behind many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will sorely miss having Granny in their lives. A small graveside service was held with the assistance of Scobee Funeral Home, Winchester, Ky.

I remember Pat Dawson pretty well, mostly from 7th grade in Jr. High School. She was quiet and soft spoken. We walked in a group home from school to a certain point and frequently had to sit down on the curb from laughing so hard. Her home life was tough growing up but it's good to know she had a good married life and beautiful children. God welcomed her back home recently. Rest in eternal peace Pat.
