Carol and I have always shared our special day.  Especially in grade school (Roosevelt) we both would bring treats for our class.  She had always been a positive thinking gal full of life.

Carol and I were friends in highschool and reconnected at one of our class reunions. We have stayed connected every since and enjoyed seeing each other on our class Zoom meetings too. Carol was a wonderful person and I will miss her very much. My condolences to her son and daughter and family.

Carol lived next door to me and brings back so many memories of meeting every morning on our shared driveways to walk together through rain, sleet and snow 10 blocks to McKinley Jr High. No one ever drove us and there were very few cancelled school days. Remember neighborhood games each night till the front porch lights came on, rollerskating with skinned knees, tag, Red Rover, etc. In the summers we would ride bikes everyhere includong Petrifying Springs &  Simmons Island. We walked couple blocks to North Shore Train Station to ride to Racine city pool for a day of swimming. We rode the bus to town for shopping and later to HS. Once we helped build a float on our shared driveways for the homecoming parade. Lost touch after HS as we built new lives. Reconnected at HS reunions and shared memories.  So sorry to hear she's gone and condolences to her family.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Carol. She was a cherished friend, a wonderful classmate, and a valued part of our neighborhood during our school years together. The memories we shared growing up are some that I willl always hold close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.
