I remember at about the 40th reunion at the entrance table was a list of in memorial people from our class, and larry was named as a class member who had passed. Gary lundskow knew him pretty well and was surprised to hear of his passing. A half hour later Gary went downstairs where a wedding reception was taking place, as Gary was attracted by familiar music. He came running up the stairs shortly afterward saying it was larry's band and he was singing an old favorite. Incredulously I went downstairs and there was larry. I waited til his set was over and told him he was dead. He was slightly amused and did come upstairs to circulate with classmates for awhile. So now, I suppose it is official, but then you never know.😂     Larry always danced to his own drummer since I can remember, always wearing cowboy clothes when it was not fashionable, he was just himself. Love the laughs we shared from jr high through high school. One of those people when you saw him after 30 years it was like yesterday

Larry and I grew up in the same neigborhood while in grade school.  I remember Larry's art skills and I had him paint Pogo (the cartoon character) on the dashboard of my car. He had a unique ability to make friends.  On a return trip to Kenosha we met again many years later and he was just as personable.  He will be missed.

So very sad to lose another classmate.  I felt terrible reading in the obituary about the loss he and his wife suffered losing 4 sons in infancy.  Such a hard loss for anyone.  I remember Larry from school with his pretty blond hair and I also remember the story Tom Sorensen told about the reunion and finding Larry's name on the obituatry board...where he didn't belong!  So glad Larry could find humor in that.  ( I think the mistake was mine, not enough research!!)  I hope Larry had many happy times in his life and enjoyed all his favorirte things.  Another classmate to be missed.
