Carole M. (Waite) Glynn
May 13, 1943 - June 7, 2024
COCOA BEACH, FL - Carole M. (Waite) Glynn, died peacefully at home, in Cocoa Beach, FL, on June 7, 2024. Carole, the daughter of Edward and Emily (Fiege) Wajtekajtis, was born on May 13, 1943, in Milwaukee before moving to Kenosha, WI.
She enjoyed summer camping, visiting Arkansas family, and tap-dancing. She was certainly grateful when the family name was eventually shortened to Waite.
Carole worked in Kenosha as a public-school elementary teacher after earning her Bachelor's degree from UW-Whitewater in 1965. She transitioned to Guidance Counselor after receiving her Master's degree.
On January 7, 1967, Carole married Patrick Glynn at St. Therese Catholic Church. They were blessed with daughter, Michelle (Robert) Chambers of Littleton, CO, and three beloved grandchildren: Piper, Evania, Harrison, who were her greatest joy.
After retiring in 2000, they continued to travel domestically as they started decades earlier during summers with their daughter and Carole's mother. Abroad, they had particular fondness for Ireland and Spain. Carole loved visiting new places, delicious food, meeting people, and savoring life with husband, Patrick, her best friend.
She also enjoyed college football, NASCAR, and Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline", which she is probably playing now. Carole will be greatly missed by family and friends "up north" in Wisconsin and in Florida, their home during retirement.
She is survived by her husband; daughter; grandchildren; and sister, Patricia (Donald)Marjala.
